Sedalia, CO, May 16, 2006 -- ATCONTACT COMMUNICATIONS, LLC, a pioneer in delivering IP connectivity as well as innovative broadcast and transport solutions to customers around the globe, has been granted authority from the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) for a global satellite system consisting of three non-geostationary satellite orbit (NGSO) satellites and four geostationary satellite orbit (GSO) satellites to provide fixed-satellite service (FSS) in the Ka-band. The license was awarded on April 14, 2006 and atContact submitted the required performance bond on May 15, 2006 to complete the authorization of the license.

Armand Musey, President of Near Earth LLC, ATCONTACT's financial advisor, stated, “this license is a landmark event in that it authorizes in one low cost satellite constellation significant GSO and NGSO spectrum resources capable of reaching all points on the globe.”

ATCONTACT will provide services from GSO locations specifically serving the U.S. including Alaska and Hawaii from 121 W, U.S. and Latin America from 83 W, the Middle East and Europe from 34 E and Asia from 130 E. The NGSO satellites will be in Highly Elliptical Orbits (HEO) and serve additional parts of the globe, particularly the higher latitudes, as well as provide support services.
